Freeride: Dolomiti free skitour

Would you like to experience the thrills of freeride skiing?

Trentino Climb goes freeriding in complete safety!

WHAT IS DOLOMITI FREE SKITOUR ?

Dolomiti Free Skitour is an alternative holiday option within the Dolomiti Superski skiing area, moving only using ski lifts and ski buses (your car spends five days in the car park). This means five day’s skiing in the world’s biggest ski area with the aim of descending the most famous off-piste routes in the Dolomites, along with some of my own secret, undocumented lines, where you rarely ever find tracked snow.

We sleep four nights in very comfortable Alpine mountain refuges, where plenty of excellent local food will restore the energy you burned up during the day. In the evening you can marvel at the fantastic Dolomite sunsets and in the morning be first to enjoy the snow on the ski runs.

Dolomiti Free Skitour is all this, plus loads of fun and excitement looking for white powder in contrast with the orange colored Dolomite rocks. Leave your tracks with us in this marvelous setting.

PROGRAM IN BRIEF:

DAY ONE

Departure from Canazei in the morning, Forcella Pordoi or other itinerary depending on the condition of the group and snow, afternoon in the Padon, Malga Ciapela, and Marmolada area, sleeping at the Pian dei Fiacconi refuge.

DAY TWO

Marmolada freeride, Civetta group in the afternoon; we ski a few descents in the resort, and then go to the Averau refuge to sleep.

DAY THREE

Cinque Torri area, skiing enjoyable Canadian style descents through the sparse forests in the morning, moving to Monte Faloria in the afternoon to face the mythical “Sci club 18” descent, and then to Val Orita which leads to the Sonforca refuge to sleep.

DAY FOUR

We move to Monte Cristallo for the fantastic Creste Bianche then return to Cortina d’Ampezzo to ascend Tofana di Rozes and descend the famous Bus de Tofana. If there is still enough energy there are gorgeous couloirs in the Falzarego area, then sleeping at the Lagazuoi refuge at 2800 m, a fantastic viewpoint over the Dolomites.

DAY FIVE

Descend to Armentarola in the morning and then moving to Corvara, Arabba then to Pordoi to descend Val del Mezdì, or an alternative route (Val Setus, Val Culeia), from Colfosco returning to Pordoi along Val Lasties and arriving at the Lupo Bianco.
